and After your session, give yourself a few minutes to orient yourself before getting up.  Most people will feel very relaxed with little or no discomfort from aches and pains that have built up over time as a result of tension, stress and/or repetitive activity. You may initially feel slowed down and calm.

Then, people often experience an increase in energy, heightened awareness and greater productivity. This feeling can last several days. 

Water is provided immediately after your session (and/or before if you’d like), and you are encouraged to drink plenty. This will help flush out metabolism residues that may have built up and caused irritation in tight tissues that are now more relaxed.

In most cases, you will also be given “homework” in the form of stretches/exercises that will help to maintain the benefits of your session and can help to prevent the recurrence of aches and pains that you’ve had in the past.
